Thailand

My second solo adventure began in Thailand, where I spent the majority of my time volunteering at Open Mind Projects as a camp facilitator. I lived with about forty Thai, Laos, and Burmese teenagers and led classes and activities for them during the day. Together, we cooked, cleaned, danced and communicated with each other in broken English-Thai. Thank you Sven and Toto for facilitating a wonderful cultural exchange, and for accepting me into your family of campers. Khob khun ka!~
